28th Annual Victorian Christmas Open Houses - Sat. Dec 14-15, 21-22, 4-7pm. Tour the lighthouse keeper's house and visit with Santa, be entertained with live music and performers, and enjoy merry refreshments. Parking $5/vehicle (cards only). LAKESIDE

Lakeside Winter Festival Dec 13 & 14. Visit Lakeside on 8th Street for 2 days of Holiday Fun! Hayrides, Santa's Workshop, Kids Carnival, Holiday Vendors, Vehicle Riding Contest.

NORTH BEND

Santa Claus at the Mall - Saturdays thru  Dec 21 from 12pm-6pm and Sundays 1pm-6pm, Dec 23-25 12pm-6pm. Santa breaks at 3-3:30. Pictures for a fee available.  Pony Village Mall, 1611 Virginia Ave.

Holiday Harmony Concert - Sun. Dec 15 at 2pm, Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 2250 16th St. An hour of music featuring youth and adults from Holy Redeemer Church.  Dessert and beverages in the parish  hall immediately following the concert. Free will offering will be accepted for the Humanitarian Fund.

South Coast Train Club Holiday Model Train Show - Sat Dec 21 10am-5pm, and Sun Dec 22 10am-4pm. Free Admission. Kingsview Christian School gym, 1850 Clark St.

COOS BAY

Holiday Lights on the Trains - Starting on Thanksgiving  day through New Years Day, see Holiday Lights at the Oregon Coast Historical Railway, 766 S. First St. (Hwy 101 N - across from McDonald’s).

Benefit Showing of The Polar Express - The Oregon Coast Historical Railway will present a benefit showing of the holiday classic “The Polar Express” on Fri Dec 13 at the Egyptian Theatre, 229 S Broadway. Doors open at 6:15pm, movie starts at 7pm. Listen to holiday music on the theater’s Mighty Wurlitzer pipe organ starting at 6:30pm. Tickets: $6/adults and $4/kids, includes a souvenir bell Christmas ornament and a “Golden Ticket” for the fictional Polar Express train. The Snug Harbor locomotive will be on display in the theater lobby. All proceeds benefit the railroad museum in Coos Bay. Call 541-294-1112 for more info.

50th Annual Christmas Concert on the Wurlitzer - Sat Dec 14, 12-2pm, at the Egyptian Theatre, 229 S Broadway. Lee Littlefield presents her 50th Annual Sounds of Christmas Concert on the Egyptian Theater’s Mighty Wurlitzer Organ. Admission is FREE. Celebrating 99 years in downtown Coos Bay!

Free Santa Shuttle from Charleston Marina on Thanksgiving/Fri/Sat/Sun/Christmas Eve & Day/New Year's Eve, from 4:15-8pm - no pass/ticket necessary. Special treats at the Charleston Fishing Families office, adjacent to the parking lot while you wait for the shuttle.

MYRTLE POINT

Christmas Lights the Night - Sat Dec 14. Enjoy family fun events with Santa from, crafts and activities, Pinewood Derby, parade and free movie. Santa at MP Ace 1-3pm and Hometown Hardware 6-8pm. Crafts and activities 3-7pm at the Logging Museum. Pinewood Derby at Hometown Hardware, with cookies and cider, 4pm. Crafts at OSU Extension 4pm. Light Parade on Spruce Street 5:30pm. Powers Christmas Lights the Night Parade Sat Dec 14, at Powers County Park. Judging at 5pm, Lineup at 5:30pm and the parade starts at 6pm.

BANDON

Nog Walk & Holiday Lights Parade - Sat Dec 14, Old Town.  Nog Walk: Buy a $10 glass at the boardwalk and visit participating businesses for egg nog, hot buttered rum, hot cocoa, mulled wine and sweet treats, from 3-5pm. Holiday Lights Parade at 5:30pm. Info: greaterbandon.org

PORT ORFORD
